The Academy is taught by practitioners whose work spans photography, visual journalism, publishing, curation, darkroom practice and contemporary visual culture. Each programme combines practical knowledge with critique, discussion and the development of an individual photographic language.

Athanasia Papadopoulou

Born in Thessaloniki in 1972, she studied contemporary photography at Stereosis from 2004 to 2006. Her work has been presented in exhibitions in Greece and abroad, and her photobook Hotels was self-published in 2019.
